Composition
Ceftriaxone 1 g + 10ml Aqua pro injection

Bioxon contains Ceftriaxone 1 g. Ceftriaxone is a broadspectrum cephalosporin. It has an extremely long plasma elimination half life, approximately 8 hours.

Indication

Infection caused by pathogen sensitive to Ceftriaxone eg, respiratory tract infections; ear, nose and throat infections; renal and urinary tract infections; sepsis; meningitis; perioperative prophylaxis of infection; infection of the bones, joints, soft tissue, skin; abdominal infections, genital infections.

Recommended Dosage

Usual dose : adults and children > 12 tahun : standard dose 1 - 2 g, once daily.

Contraindication

Hypersensitivity to cephalosporins
