Composition

Amlodipine 5 mg

Each tablet contains : Amlodipine Besylate 6,934 mg equivalent to Amlodipine 5 mg

Amlodipine 10 mg

Each tablet contains : Amlodipine Besylate 13,868 mg equivalent to Amlodipine 10 mg

Indication

Hypertention, myocardial ischemia (stable or Prinzmetal's/variant angina)

Recommended Dosage

Adult : Initially 5 mg once daily and may be increased to a maximum dose of 10 mg.

Elderly or fragile patients, or patients with hepatic insufficiency may be started on 2,5 mg once daily and this dose may be used when adding Amlodipine to other antihypertensive therapy.

Contraindication

Amlodipine is contraindicated in patients with known sensitivity to dihydropyridine.
